Airbnb Emoji - #BelongAnywhere

Designed the custom emoji for Airbnb's #BelongAnywhere campaign. The emoji was to encompass the feelings of universal belonging and acceptance. The launch of my custom emoji led to an increase in the number of Tweets containing positive sentiment about the campaign in addition to an increase in the overall impression volume of Tweets containing the #BelongAnywhere hashtag.

"Home is where we feel the greatest sense of belonging. The refugee crisis in the Middle East, Northern Africa and Europe has resulted in over 60 million people being displaced from their homes in one of the greatest humanitarian challenges of the modern era. With winter approaching, they are in need of urgent protection and assistance.
